Every evening up on the avenue,
there’s a woman who sits there holding out a cup.
All she needs is a few dollars for a sandwich and some French fries. People toss money in he cup, but they never look into her eyes.
They just pass her by

Now life on the streets is all that she knows.

She’s only one of three million people homeless people living in our streets today.
