The story...
An alien civilization far from our own. A creation process is finishing the last steps. The final bits of data is being transferred into the organism. Moving away from the machines, you fly over the piles and piles of rejected clones. Some are still aware of their condition. They call out for mercy.

At the Analysis Center, new organisms are reviewed to see which ones will be selected to proceed. The creator reviews each and revels in the beauty of each, yet misses a slight flaw. Blood begins to flow within the newly created being and it will soon be added to the millions of inhabitants of the station.

Soon after being introduced into the civilization, the imperfection takes control. The organism turns against society and begins ripping it apart. Yet in its mind, it has found its purpose. It has found bliss. The defect takes over the organism and the system slowly shut down until consciousness fades away.
