the door opens, and I fall in
reaching out I lose a limb
entering I realize I wasnt there
the photo on my wall
was my destination
the entrance, my mind

falling deeper I awake
knowing that there was no place
or time or space

reaching out to lose it all
and gain from all
asking not why, but how
the why was the now
dreaming, floating in my sleep
going into things
becoming a meme

replicated as it seems
now I ask, was that me?
the memories, so weak
the present a gift, for me
lost in translation I seek

the only way I know to speak
