Four years ago, feeling uninspired by the life she was leading in Brescia, Bardo packed her bags for Manchester—where she would meet and eventually join the band Working Men’s Club. "Phase" saw her strike out on her own, and marked the first time she had full creative control over her music. It was a defining moment for a forward-facing young artist.
