Ope! by Julia Bloop

Recorded in sequence during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, sampled exclusively from films in the order I watched them, mixed on tape and assembled in Pro Tools.

This album is 100% movie samples with the exception of one vinyl rip from a record called “Ronald McDonald Discovers America”

The complete list of movies sampled for this album, in the order they were viewed, is included in the download.

The journey begins with Ned Merrill declaring his intention to swim his way home along a river of swimming pools, and ends with Joe Gillis floating face down in a swimming pool.
