“Diluted” is an exploration of overstimulation and habituation. When the world around us is constantly flashing, life can start to feel a bit dull. I produced this record in response to feeling consumed by social media and having an increased need for digital boundaries and IRL connection. The experimental yet playful pop nature may be well-received by fans of Dora Jar, Hemolocke Springs, and Grace Ives.

Kate Brunotts is an avant-pop music producer and artist originally from Virginia, currently settled in Los Angeles.

She strives to create accessible sonic dreamscapes that challenge the bounds of music taking inspiration from alternative voices like Caroline Polachek and FKA Twigs.
