Oceanomicon by Uruul & Kazeria

: Uruul and Kazeria join forces to bring forth Oceanomicon :

Inspired by majestic oceanic landscapes and their archetypical and darker aspects, Oceanomicon results in an immersive, vast and monolithic opus.
Abyssal, cold, evocative and hypnotic at once, the five tracks attempt to reflect the overwhelming power of the waters, inhabited by unknown forces fashioned through myths since ever.
Uruul and Kazeria, both contribute with their own singular approach to sound, entwining dark ambient, industrial, ritual drone and some glimpses of kraut and electro. Everything underpins a massive lo-fi-symphonic soundscape.

Oceanomicon was composed and recorded 250 miles away from Buenos Aires, at some desolated South Atlantic shores on last January. Once again a minimum gear was employed as a manifesto for an austere primitiveness: a tiny monophonic synth/sequencer, a pair of FX units, a micro sampler and a 4-track recorder. Everything was hand-manipulated and performed in real time. Like a primeval and ritual process to turn environment into sound.

Divinity lies there.
