Kenichiro Nishihara, encompassing a wide range of audiences around the globe with unique melody and view, is now releasing his 6th album after 10 years since the debut. The album contains 10 songs, featured by Michael Kaneko, who's been with Asian tour for the past few years, SIRUP, MARTER, Sam Ock, and Substantial.
While maintaining the ensemble of mellow piano melody and hip-hop beat, this album focused on emphasizing live performances. A popular Finnish jazz player Jukka Eskola, DAISUKE(Sax) from Japan’s renowned instrumental band ‘JABERLOOP’, and Takagi Yoshihiko(Gt) from Zainichi Funk have contributed to this album with outstanding performances. The album also for the first time introduced Japanese lyrics, adding another level of deepness to his collection.
This album possesses unique sense of Kenichiro Nishihara, where all recording & mixing were done in his private studio using hi-end equipment. Mastering work was done at Wax Alchemy. Wax alchemy has been getting global attention from the collaboration of artists like Mukai Taichi and SIRUP, who are not only based in underground music but are very familiar with Japanese music.
