In Gaia’s hall the seed grows tall… and the child grows strong
And the seasons ebb and flow in living song

The tide breathes out and the tide breathes in
And the moon is riding high on Heaven’s wing
In slumber deep sweet Morpheus keeps… his arms about
And the tide breathes in and tide breathes out

The tree breathes out and the man breathes in
And the dawnlight hails a new awakening
And so it goes the young man knows… beyond all doubt
The source of life is what the tree breathes out
