Serendipity by Krisu
Serendipity is the genre love-child of long time Chillstep producer Krisu. I've made Chillstep for over 10 years and gradually it has become something else which I call "Hyperchill". It is both wildly exciting and relaxing at the same time. I have worked endlessly on this song. Probably two or three times longer than usual and it was an uphill battle to make an interesting chorus with a satisfying mix of melodies and bass.
Serendipity means accidental discovery or a positive surprise in search of something else. I think that's very beautiful and it perfectly captures the making of this song.
