WITHOUT SEMANTICS

if you have suddenly opened the door
and saw me seizing and freezing
on this slippery tile floor
with eyes wide open, pinching my nostrils
pressing against the walls

please don’t
oh!
please don’t

don’t wonder about the matters
don’t ask me about the issues -
just hug me in total silence
and quietly bring some tissues
to cover both of my swollen eyelids

please wrap me tightly in huge plush towels
let’s sit and cuddle until the dawn
still full of my daydreaming, darling
until the shadows are all gone
and when the rhymes are no more valid
mixed up and scattered by the sun
but yet for now please keep me quiet
until my toes un-numb…

don’t wonder about the matters
don’t tell me about the issues -
just hug me in total silence, please
quietly bring some tissues
and wipe away all my secrets
then cover-up all my scars...

Without semantics. Without a sequence.
