Mirage by Lefteris Papadimitriou

Mirage is a piece for synthesized electronic sounds. It is the third and final part of an electronic trilogy comprised of Sonatas for electronic sounds, Objects for recorded sounds and Mirage for electronic sounds. All three pieces are meant to sound together forming a three hour modular, kaleidoscopic sound cycle.

He has composed works for electronic and acoustic media. In 2006 he was awarded the international Gaudeamus Prize for his composition “Black & White” for piano and orchestra. Compositional interests include hybridization of electronic and acoustic sound, collage/montage, sound cognition.
