Testing #1 by LIO
This project is the beginning of me experimenting with cassette and its recording aspects. All the beats in this project were first recorded into a TDK D90 cassette with a Tascam 112R MKII from my MPC 1000. Half I would say are new beats like a week old the other half I was just going through some files in my MPC and stubbled upon them. I've heard tape can hold peaking better and I think this project attests to that. Everything I recorded in the Tascam was peaking and when I heard it back it sounded pretty dirty and round. Bass Gritty highs even.
