Low Beherion present their debut album - a heavy, bass-driven project forged in the basements and hidden corners of Jerusalem since 2018.
Drawing influence from extreme metal, dub, industrial and experimental music, the duo creates a an intense sound experience that screams the unconscious behind today’s fragmented masculine emotional spectrum.
Low Beherion is the musical duo of Ron Sheskin and Itamar Shlomo Cohen - two musicians and longtime friends who met as students at the New Music Department of the Musrara School of Art.
Ron Sheskin is a multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, and multidisciplinary artist originally from Haifa. From a young age, he immersed himself in the world of extreme metal. Over the years, he has expanded his creative work into a wide range of mediums and musical styles, including original compositions for theater, dance, and film. Among his projects, he is especially known as the leader of Karkait, an avant-garde extreme metal band.
Itamar Shlomo Cohen is a music producer, DJ, and artistic director born in Jerusalem. In recent years, he has carved out a unique place in Tel Aviv’s independent music scene as both a DJ and a producer. His work is characterized by blending and fusing musical traditions from the Middle East and North Africa with electronic music, hip hop, and experimental sounds.
