The lyrics on this album are based upon readings of Letters from the Earth from Mark Twain, Twilight of the Idols and The Antichrist from Friedrich Nietzsche. The title Der AntiChrist, in German language translates to "The Antichrist" but also "The Anti Christian" as an opposition to Christianity and the idea of the existence of God.
