A9 by LudoWic

A9 by LudoWic will be released tomorrow on April 14th.
This track is the end result of a sound experiment that LudoWic did in 2019 in the Gaasperdammertunnel.

With this experiment LudoWic wanted to examen and record the unique sound qualities of the longest land tunnel in The Netherlands, located in Amsterdam.

IXAS and Rijkswaterstaat made one of the five tunnel tubes available for this sound experiment.

Together with audio engineer Bob Willekens, a sound installation was placed in the middle of the tunnel, pointing in two directions.

Subsequently, this installation sent high-power electronic sine waves, drones, noise and FX through this infrastructure which were recorded at different distances along the entire length of the tunnel.
