Selah is a celebration. A praise. A pause. A moment.
This song was made accidentally in January 2022. Around that time, it was challenging to make music because I was in my head so much - comparing myself to others and feeling like my sound was limited, amongst other things. When I couldn't make beats, the next best thing I could do was play the keys. I pressed record and just played whatever came out.
After I stopped, I felt liberated. It felt like all of that negative inner talk was dispelled in that moment. At that moment, I had validation that I'm supposed to be here.
