“I, I can’t make up my mind.” making that the sigh of a slightly different melody and lyrical phrase at first, Joy drove this song’s chorus into a reminiscing drift. she touches her song ‘Cloud’ with a lively feel that melts after every strum. “it’s happy and sad; sunny but cloudy,” Joy plainly states. getting down to the raw, conflicting message of it begins at the end, where she tells her ‘dear’ that nothing is settled til its settled right. she wanted the approach and the overall feel of the song to have a very gentle aspect. that’s what she did with the harmonies, uplifting the chorus and soothing back into the story.
mae skyse, (Joy), began singing and song-writing almost side-by-side. Her aptitude for learning new instruments and singing gave her opportunities in her community to share her gift. She thanks all who continue to support and help her strengthen her skills.
