The sixth and final volume of the Lemony Nougat series comes from comes from Perfect Writing - the ambient synthesis project of Leeds-based Michael Waters. Beautiful, broad drones and intricate melodies are expertly knitted together over the space of five short pieces. The arrangements on this sophomore offering are more orchestrally informed than on his debut, and the appearance of strings, piano and choral textures give the EP a more neo-classical slant.
