“Lo spazio liminale è uno stato di transizione, un luogo intermedio, dove le norme e le identità sono temporaneamente sospese. Rappresenta il passaggio, la soglia tra ciò che è noto e ciò che è ignoto; un percorso temporaneo che collega diverse destinazioni, attraverso una trasformazione.
Alcuni luoghi reali, privi di un soggetto definito, possono alterare la percezione e l'esperienza spaziale. Possono destabilizzare l'individuo e farlo passare da uno stato mentale, sociale o fisico ad un altro.
Questo può generare incertezza, ansia, disagio, disorientamento, e a volte rivelazione.
La gestione di questi sentimenti, tra i quali anche il rapporto con la sofferenza e la morte, è fondamentale per navigare attraverso le transizioni della vita.
Il nuovo album di Marco Bellafiore ci porta dentro a questi spazi, grazie ad un viaggio sonoro costruito con un’orchestrazione elettro-acustica stratificata del suo contrabbasso.”

"The liminal space is a state of transition, an intermediate place where norms and identities are temporarily suspended. It represents the passage, the threshold between the known and the unknown; a temporary path that connects different destinations through transformation.
Some real places, lacking a defined subject, can alter spatial perception and experience. They can destabilize the individual and cause them to shift from one mental, social, or physical state to another.
This can generate uncertainty, anxiety, discomfort, disorientation, and sometimes revelation.
Managing these feelings, including the relationship with suffering and death, is essential for navigating life's transitions.
Marco Bellafiore's new album takes us into these spaces, thanks to a sound journey built with a layered electro-acoustic orchestration of his double bass."
