We all must do at times things that we wish to keep putting off until the following day, which never seems to become the opportune time to achieve that which was being held back for any given purpose.

My collection of released titles of previously unreleased works and odd captures was titled Closing Out - etc & Opening Up etc, and it was meant to be carried on for an undetermined amount of 15 track additions to the series until those tracks had been given life on the internet for all to enjoy and for my own personal goal of continuity for posterity’s sake.

This was becoming more and a more daunting undertaking, for according to my own estimates, with the amount of material I have been sitting on for a space of more than 4 years, releasing and featuring here and there, and also creating at every free moment I was afforded. It began to look like I was up against a 20-plus series of releases at the given 15 track limit.

Creating that much output, along with the time that I invest in trying to not have bullshit rookie mistakes in the final release, like dead air at the ends or start of tracks or massive clipping that may pop out of nowhere, like in some of my earlier works.

All the while, I will make numerous new tracks that just won't make the cut for any particular release. They add on to the next, and the amount of drive space inhabited by live captures of sessions grows by the week. These sessions get cut up and worked further, or they contain small parts that had special significance in terms of tonality or the eerie vibe that some filter and reverb combination had on one 30-second part of a 39-minute improvised session. Nonetheless, it becomes daunting. I don't believe all of this material is by any means great or even good; it's just what it is. Very diverse at times, quite repetitive at others, but it now stands as a large part of a significant amount of digital storage space that I can nuke out of existence to manage more future works.

That all being stated, I present to you all UNDERCURRENT EVENTS, the first part of a massive content dump from the creative backlog of a man who spends about 90% of his free time creating in some shape or form.

It MUST BE DONE, for the old GODS demand it and in studious frequency.
