i lost ten pounds on a speed binge (nice!)
but would you take a look at my face?
tell me if something seems different
my mouth is coming off of my head so i’m talking like my mouth is a vacuum
suckin’ thoughts right outta my brain
lickin’ up whats left off of the carpet
so tomorrow i can drown in the waste
wanna feel like i’m part of the family
wanna scream for an hour or two
caught you sniffing out my bony little shoulder
found myself drinkin’ straight out of the slough
now we’re yellow at eachother but i recently discovered that i’ll
never get paid and i’m so certain that you’ll say:
“it’s okay! you should just crash off the interstate!”
but hey, i could never be sugar like you
the doctor said he’d seen very scary things in my aorta
but i had funny little dreams of nova scotia
now i’m pounding away at the back of my brain
i take vitamins to feel okay
in the thundering rain
puking wide, open plain
never sleep at the end of a day
and i really wanna stay
but i’m going insane
cut corners, cut to coffin, cool grave!
