Eccentricity by Maxwell Paris

This is the third Jonah Whale album - Eccentricity. Eccentricity, might be generally described as a collection of a wide range of rock ballads. This album features a beautiful surrealistic ballad called Imaginary World, a sensitive acoustic ballad called I Would, as well as a few up beat rock songs like High and Lay a Hand on Me.
Jonah Whale music typically offers strong melodic hooks and powerful imagery. Many of his songs are well suited for movie sound tracks. Lyrical subject matter ranges from gentle sensitive ballads about love and romance, to darker characters like the pyromaniac in Match Head and the atheist serial killer on death row in Holyman. Other subjects include the end of the world, Valentines Day, first love, lost love, drug and alcohol addiction, dreams and aspirations, teen angst, personal identity struggles, personal strength.
There are currently five albums by Jonah Whale.
The first album, Dangerous Games, falls squarely into the genre of classic rock. The songs on the Dangerous Games album are reminiscent of the 80's era when super groups like Journey, Foreigner, Queen and Billy Squire ruled radio.
The second album, Under World, is sometimes referred to as "the dark album" due to the darker subject matter and minor key changes. The Under World album presents several interesting characters like the Boy in a Bottle living in an asylum who hears voices and sees ghosts, the pyromaniac in the song called Match Head, and the atheist serial killer on death row in the song called Holyman.
The fourth album from Jonah Whale is titled Belly of the beast. The songs on the Belly of the Beast album generally fall into the genre of hard rock or progressive rock. In keeping with the first three albums, It offers strong lyrical hooks and powerful memorable melodies. The Belly of the Beast album is considered by some to be one of Jonah Whale's best albums. There are no ballads on this album. It starts with a punch and never lets up and clearly established Jonah Whale's artistic identity.
The latest release is Mobius, a hard hitting album, featuring strong grooves and melodies that deliver compelling lyrics.
