Reason by Merricat Black
'Reason' the first of five tracks of 'Ode to Merricat Pt. 1' EP.
These tracks are tribute to another alias called "Merricat Black". It was meant to be a purely 140BPM deep dubstep project, but the sounds and decisions I made for filthsun always creeped there way into the production. I eventually discontinued "Merricat Black" and decided to fold all of the songs I created for the project into filthsun. Though it was a tad depressing, I'm really grateful that I decided to tackle the 140BPM range in meaningful way and these are the fruits of that labor. I've created a lot of bangers and singles, but these songs fill in the color to the hard outlines I've already drawn for this project, and only hint.... at what I've actually achieved with my album "The Man With Eyes".
