These recordings are presented as-is, exactly as they were found. Most come from cassettes my dad made late at night (or early in the morning, depending on your angle), and the popping, hissing, crickets, and mistakes are all intact. C. A. Simmons preserved a lot of these, and I’ve got more sources to tap, including dad’s hard drives. There will be a lot here.

I’m putting them out so everyone can listen freely. If you want to download them, I keep the price low on purpose so the love doesn’t have to hurt in the same way Walmart loves hurting you. Dad would want it that way. You can pay whatever you like.

All proceeds go toward two causes he would absolutely approve of: my ongoing guitar problem and his grandchildren, who all inherited his eyebrows.
