Midnight Fortress by Midnight Fortress
The roots of this album reach back to 2021, when the first songs were written as heavy-metal ideas that no longer fit the increasingly extreme direction of Okrütnik. Instead, they became the foundation of a new project Midnight Fortress. The cover art, created by Sandra Kubacka, was also completed that same year.
The band formed naturally: first Michał, met after an Okrütnik show in 2020, then Borys, after our collaborative covers of Holy Wars and Breaking the Law. Together we completed the full set of songs, adding their own compositions along the way.
Recorded entirely by ourselves between 2023 and 2024, the album is the result of independence, persistence, and a shared vision. After an unfruitful search for a label, we chose to release it on our own exactly the way it was meant to be heard.

In the darkness of withered lands, Midnight Fortress rises with raw heavy metal force. Created by Eric “Büllet” Kula (Okrütnik, False Experience), the project became a full band in 2022 with Boriz “Beast” Smidoda and Michael “Rider” Telesiński. This is the birth of their debut album.
