Recorded live in the enigmatic walls of Milan’s C3, this recording captures MORRR as a stripped-down, recalibrated duo. A raw encounter between voice, guitar, electronics and real-time manipulation.
Performing entirely new, unpublished material alongside reimagined versions of pieces from his latest single, Ramparts, and the Marrow Weavers EP, Dario Gatto and Simone Vitiello push their sound to a point of fracture and recomposition. Gatto’s saturated guitar textures and haunted vocal fragments meet Vitiello’s restless electronics and live sampling in a volatile, improvised exchange, stretching and distorting MORRR’s core language into unfamiliar shapes.
With this release, MORRR further distance themselves from the compositional threads of their earlier studio work. What emerges is not a destination, but a trace: live, transient, and already disappearing.
