Tучи над Борском by Post Scriptvm

Бруклинский дуэт с русскими корнями Post Scriptvm – уникальный образчик классического пост-индастриала, который не растерял ни смысла, ни силы. Их альбом Raspad, выпущенный Tesco Оrganization, остается недостигнутой марианской падиной богоборчества и богооставленности. И хотя «Тучи надо Борском» по формату и звуку возвращается к мини-альбомам Chiaroscvro и Sea-Green Series V (2003-2004), стальной конфликт с Высшим привязывает новый альбом именно к Raspad.

По форме “Тучи…” — экспериментальная короткая запись, похожая на обрывистый лихорадочный сон. Название альбома отсылает к анти-религиозному пропагандистскому фильму 1960-х, действие которого разворачивается в вымышленном городе. Намек на то, что “Борск” у каждого свой, прозрачен.

В музыкальном плане “Тучи…” – это сильный дарк-эмбиент старой школы, который не смотря на все соблюдение жанровых правил, остается внутренне не предсказуем и, что важнее для слушателя, не предсказуем на уровне психоактивности. Эта музыка таится в межреберном пространстве между страшным сном и загадочной явью. Реакционное, реатроактивное, неотмирное звучание идеально резонирует с темами религиозного мракобесия и… или правдоискательства?

Отдельного упоминания заслуживает визуальная сторона релиза: впервые издание NEN Records оформила художница – Ира А. Горяйнова.

Post Scriptvm, Brooklyn duo with Russian roots, is an unique example of classical post-industrial, which has not lost any sense and power. Their album ‘Raspad’, released by Tesco Organization, remains unattained Mariana Trench of god rebellion and abandonment. Although "Thunderclouds over Borsk" on the format and the sound returns to the mini-album ‘Chiaroscvro’ and ‘Sea-Green Series V’ (2003-2004), the steel conflict with the Supreme connects this new album to ‘Raspad’.

"Thunderclouds ..." is an experimental short record, similar to the steep feverish dream. The album's title refers to the Soviet anti-religious propaganda film of 1960’, which is set in the fictional town Borsk. A hint of what everyone has his own "Borsk" is quiet obvious.

Musically, " Thunderclouds..." is a strong dark ambient of the old school, which despite all the respect for the rules of the genre, is intrinsically not predictable and that is more important for the listener, is not predictable on psychoactive level. This music lies in the space between a nightmare and mysterious reality. The reactionary otherworldly sound resonates perfectly with the themes of religious obscurantism... and for quest for higher truth.

Special mention deserves the visual side of the release: the first edition issued NEN Records artist - Irina A. Goryaynova.
