Nomadic Kids Republic was a label originally created by Ian Hawgood and Davi Liu in Tokyo around 2008. Ian started Home Normal in 2009, and ultimately opened NKR as a sub-label in 2009 after the Tohoku earthquake to celebrate electronic-ambient music.
The final release came out in 2012. Plans are in place for Ian and Davi to reopen the label in 2026.
