As ever with Sean's work, the core is emotional storytelling, the music dripping with pathos. Dramatic and beguiling sequences of semi-organic synths and acoustic phenomena are powdered by immense bass pressure, the decaying sound wrapped up into the next convulsive implosion. Hints of light and sparkle emerge through heavily clouded skies to maintain an endless atmosphere of ambivalence.
