No Promises from Vapor Pop! by Male Tears

Once in a while I’ll wake up to life, already so tired of day. No promise tomorrow or give your advice. The night is my time in a way. Remember the lies and deception they give, remember we’re living chains. They’ll tell us misguided and ignorant folk, it’s healthy the way that we live.

A promise is broken, like clockwork, the lies. We cast out the words of our ends. I wake up to life and already I’m scared. No promise tomorrow, my friends.

And when my tears won’t flow- I feel pity. And when the empathy won’t glow- I feel pity.

Waxing and whining poetic details. Our minds are but wavering words. My chronic delusions going off the rails, my memories fading like birds. They call me a sad little man in my head. Can’t tell if I’m inside their minds, can’t shake off the feeling I’d rather be dead. I hardly deserve my own bed!

Also very very small nitpick the only one I noticed lyric wise- DL track is missing the first chorus at the start of the track, easy copy paste to the beginning!
