'Basic' is defined as "forming or relating to the most important part of something; the essence, the basis for starting point"
That's what this recording is.

In the process of reviving and renewing PALE LIKE YOU, I recorded this batch of eleven songs - which I feel best represent the a rough, basic sound of the project.

The new album, which is currently in process - will be a full production.

The audio presented here was recorded by an iPhone 6, an iphone 4, and a Canon Mini-DV ZR500 (if you're not sure about that one, let's just say it's ancient).

These performances are raw. These mistakes (as few as there are) are real. This is intended to show the basics of the songs - without any bells and whistles; though not necessarily acoustic. These are one take performances - which took place on February 7, 2016. Notably, that was the first time these songs had been played in 10 years.
