hears whispers
of storms between her bones

Picking up on something strong
And I swear by my hip that produces the limp

The pulse around it was beating faster

To warn me against it

as the well meaning without scar tissue
who are lenient when you continue
to go off on another bender

I know you're in a tangle
but you know I got no angle
I got no hidden agenda
