All of the music on this album was made by layering improvs... nothing was written/composed in advance. i might just have a vague idea for a melodic theme or a chord sequence to start out with, but that's as far as that goes. i just hit the record button and see what happens, and i don't do any punch-ins or edits after the fact either; each individual part for a given track is one single take from start to finish, just as if i was jamming with a live band, except that the other musicians are me and myself.
