Took a minute to assess myself
And deal with all the damage I had dealt
Took a minute just for me to get there
For awhile I was walking on air
Look around and I don’t know what to say

Took a look inside the space I made
The cornerstone of everything I hate
Seems crazy when it’s put in action
The aftermath of a bad reaction

The only child without the sense to think
Took a breath and dove into the deep
Had to hit bottom just to realize
The pain needed to be actualized
