Murals by Universalis

'Murals' were conceived as a study both in solo piano composition and musical hauntology. These small pieces often played in deliberately loose manner and mixed with sounds of vinyl scratches and other sonic artifacts are full of references that range from the baroque era to the contemporary neoclassical movement. By using these means of expression I hoped to create a metaphor for how time and memory work together.
