Everything & More from Backspin by public library commute
I made “Everything & More” around 3am one rainy fall night in 2024. It samples this beautiful old Japanese jazz tune I found while digging around YouTube. The drums shift halfway through each 8-bar phrase to give it a bit of movement, but overall I wanted to keep it pretty minimal and hypnotic. I was loosely thinking about “Flashing Lights” - not trying to recreate it, just chasing that same kind of late-night atmosphere.
