Yemin Hashem was composed by Menachem Mendel Schneerson, the Tzemach Tzedek, third Rebbe of Chabad, a Kabbalist and composer of several other soul piercing melodies. He was orphaned by age three and raised on the knee of his grandfather the Alter Rebbe. These and other elements of his life story are deeply present to me as a backdrop to his nigunim. The words are from Psalms and are sung in the Hallel prayer.
