Sailing from Space Continuum by Rønja

The track explores the remarkable rich history of the town of Silistra. The ruins of the fortress walls of the antique town Durostorum lie on the banks of Dunabe, on the outskirt of the town. It is assumed that the stronghold is one of the most significant defensive structures in Bulgaria and has defended the town for almost 13 centuries. Nowadays, after an art symposium has been conducted in 2006, one can see the many metal sculptures around the ruins that represent the life of the ancient people. And if each sculpture is used as a musical instrument, one can hear the sound of ancient times full of battles and struggles of people who defend their homeland.

Rønja is a sound engineer, producer and composer. Her music is deeply meditative, relaxing and exploring. She likes to experiment with sound, combining nature sounds, electronics and acoustic instruments.
