I’m drinking coffee on the back porch. I spot a paper towel on the ground. For a moment, I see it as a broken dove. It has crashed. Then it changes back into a dirty napkin. I think of Dylan and society’s quest for peace through war. I think of hot American trash and when we will be able to rest.
