These songs are meant to be overwhelming, relentless, and destructive. They are about how we are all surveilled, manipulated, and abused both mentally and physically by our rulers. The power our rulers have over us is pervasive and reaches much farther and deeper than any of us are willing to admit. Many of us spend hours a day staring into their propaganda abyss. What beauty lies in these songs serves to remind you that their power is not complete and that a better world is possible.
Don't buy this album. Spend your hard-earned money on donations to organisations trying to stop genocide, or give money to your local unions to bolster their strike funds. Whatever you do, don't waste your money on politicians or anyone trying to "change the system from inside" - these people will betray you the second that it is convenient for them.
