Wading Pool by Sarah Rossy

The holidays are a portal into nostalgic contemplation, for better or for worse.

Here is “Wading Pool”, the first peek of a very special legacy release project that will be unveiled in 2024. This song captures a tender moment of examining one’s own growth from a place of gentle wonder.

It features some beautiful sounds from a convergence of lifetimes and creative communities: 2023, 2016 and 90s toddler Sarah singing “Deck the Halls”. If you listen to the end you’ll even hear some wise words of wisdom from mom.

I’ll share the full story behind this music in the coming months, but I wanted to offer this at a time when many of us are feeling sentimental.
