Founded in 2009, the duo of Agnes Hvizdalek and Daniel Lercher combines abstract vocal music with electroacoustic music.
They share a musical vision where everything is possible and nothing an obligation.
Although of disparate autonomous origins, freely improvised analogue and digital materials are woven together and coalesce into a coherent whole: vocal sounds seem audible in the electronics; unprocessed voice appears electronically manipulated.
Due to their high degree of flexibility and mutual trust the duo switches between fragility and brutality with ease.

Agnes Hvizdalek is an improvising musician, singer, composer and organizer, originating from Vienna’s experimental music scene, who has been based in Oslo, Norway since 2008. From an early age, she has dedicated her life to new music and her fascination with the human voice. She celebrates this in her abstract vocal music, for which she has received international acclaim. Always exploring new horizons, Hvizdalek has engaged in numerous cross-disciplinary collaborations merging voice, visual and performance art, dance, theatre, film, writing.

Daniel Lercher was born in 1983 in Judenburg in the Austrian countryside, currently residing in Vienna. He is a graduate of the course for Computer Music and Electronic Media at the Institute for Composition and Electroacoustics / University for Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW).
Lercher’s work focuses on electroacoustic composition/improvisation, live-electronics, phonography, installations, music for dance & film etc. His list of activities includes more than 300 concerts, installations and residencies on four continents. He collaborates with numerous musicians and artists from various disciplines.
His music, either solo or in collaboration, has been published on more than 20 releases.
