Lou's band successfully evaded capture, but the authorities were hot on their trail, intent upon exterminating them and the supposedly deadly virus which they carried. They were forced to flee into the planet's underworld, hiding amongst the criminals and scum in the places where civilisation didn't dare to go.
Gradually, their tales became myths; the myths became legends; and the legends became ghosts of stories untold. Lou Stevenson and the Anarchic Hermits were never seen again.

When, in the Summer of 2014, John Burnett and his friend Luke Michie set about producing a concept album to combine Luke's ideas for a science fiction story with John's idea's for how to set this story to music, they inadvertently formed "Segregated Elephant", a band primarily featuring John on Guitar and vocals, Luke on Bass and vocals and (in a live context) various slightly different lineups.
