Ostserĉado by Silphium

"Ostserĉado" = "Bone Hunt". In the Bible passage Jude 1:9, the archangel Michael and Satan dispute the body of Moses and Michael condemns Satan to be rebuked by the Lord. The search for a body is common in countries like Mexico, where violence has grown so much that the numbers of people missing and found dead rise day by day. The dispute over corpses in third world countries has two parts: the people who are looking for their missing relatives in the face of the insufficiency of the State and the violence of gore capitalism (Sayak Valencia's concept) that hopes that the bodies will never be found.

Silphium makes all its creations freely available, if you record the tracks on any material and use our proposed cover image as non profit goals, you have a legitimate copy of our work. Silphium want to join the musical projects from different geographies that seek to express themselves from the third world context.

About the lyrics:

The lyrics are written entirely in Esperanto, a language created in 1887 with the aim of becoming the second language in the world. Its creation is the product of the liberal universalist philosophy of the time (Eric Hobsbawm, 1990). However, throughout the 20th century it was used as a protest, mainly by left-wing political groups, against fascist ideologies (Giorgio Silfer, 2019). The themes of the lyrics deal with social criticism, violence, death and subversion.

Silphium was born in the peripheral area of Mexico City in 2022 as a project that seeks to criticize social inequality. Silphium's sound is primitive, aggressive and unprofessional, it does not follow the current standards of music production.
We support the community social claim against capitalism from the Latin American reality with lyrics in the Esperanto language.
