Dissolved by Skinlepsy

After a hiatus of 04 years, the Brutal Thrash Metal Brazilian band SKINLEPSY presents their second album titled Dissolved. This new work features ten tracks that masterfully blend Death and Thrash Metal, styles that strongly influence the sound of the band from the beginning of their activities in 2003 and follow the career of the musicians since always. These features were already present on the first CD Condemning The Empty Souls that was also released by Shinigami Records in 2013 and featured the special guest appearances of Fernanda Lira (Nervosa) and Luiz Carlos Louzada (Vulcano, Chemical Disaster) being praised by public and specialized criticism in Brazil and abroad. The band formed by André Gubber - guitar and vocals (Pentacrostic, ex-Siegrid Ingrid, ex Nervochaos and Skullkrusher) Evandro Junior - drums (Anthares, ex-Siegrid Ingrid) and Leonardo Melgaço - guitar (ex-Divine Uncertainty) once again chose Studio 44 for recording, mixing and mastering, except for vocals that were recorded at Dual Noise Studio, both in São Paulo. The production was in charge of Roberto Toledo, who had previously worked with the band on their first album, in addition to having signed the production of the latest works of the bands MX and Anthares. The graphic art was developed by the designer Jean Michel who also developed the art of the debut Condemining The Empty Souls and has worked with several renowned Brazilian and international artists. In addition to 09 unreleased tracks, Dissolved also features the re-recording of the song Murder by Siegrid Ingrid, a group that Evandro and Gubber played in the 1990s. Dissolved is intended to sound like a straightforward album, with strong lyrics covering timeless themes such as wars and human insanity, but also covers current themes such as the death of war refugees, the growth of terrorism around the world, religion and the social and psychic consequences on users of chemical drugs; subject covered in the title track.
