Bakhu from Buddy System by Sabo, Hot Oasis

“Bakhu” is interesting because this is the only song on the album, where I still have not met my collaborator in person. Hot Oasis has been releasing on Sol for some time now, and he sent me a simple demo track that I knew had lots of potential. I asked him to send me the parts and I took it into a new tribal direction. We then added some instrument parts that Hot Oasis had recorded in Egypt. “Bakhu” is the name of the eastern peak mountain in Egypt where legend says heaven rested. I hope to one day soon travel to Egypt and finally meet my buddy.
