In SONUS EORUM, which started as a noise music studio project in Berlin 2020, Mathieu Sylvestre live- records, loops and transforms Leander Reininghaus' rerouted live sounds and samples, which are used as a source of objective material in order to create a geometric response to the sound flow of the loops.
Mathieu Sylvestre is a French noise musician who works with loopers, instruments and field recordings.
Leander Reininghaus is a German composer, producer and livelooping multiinstrumentalist.
The releases presented here are the audio works of SONUS
EORUM's ongoing studio sessions.
Call it a trilogy, if you like... 'gennítria' follows 'aftosyneidisía' and 'kolossós enypníon' with a droning, machine-like vibe. Picture a huge generator, a warp drive, the engine room of a generations starship or just let your "Kopfkino" run wild on this one.
