Splintered Man by Splintered Man
Debut album by London-based Splintered Man, featuring Simon Kobayashi of smallgang and Alex Carter. The songs were written over a two year period and showcase the fluid intuitive playing of both. The songs deal with lost and new love, coming to terms with the past and the present, and the anxiety of domesticity. Coming on with pretty and hooky melodies that belie the impressionistic and incisive lyricism, the album is one for late nights and early mornings.
