Regurgitate (def.) – to bring back swallowed food into the mouth, or to repeat information without analysing or comprehending it.
In its most basic form, Regurgitate is an archive dump of everything I've ever recorded, created, or been associated with during my teenage years—chopped up and contorted into musical vomit.
It acts as a spiritual successor to What’s On The Telly? (Ideal Airlines)—an introspective exploration of my childhood told through samples from British children’s TV.
There are seven movements (+1 interlude), each featuring bits and pieces from unfinished or unreleased tracks of mine, fragments of leftover vocal takes (and occasionally original music) from all the collaborators I've worked with, audio rips from friends' Instagram stories, and hundreds upon hundreds of found recordings I've collected over the years, all littered throughout.
The project began in late 2023 as a lazy experiment, but over time it evolved into something more profound than I initially imagined—something I ultimately felt was worth releasing.
